Frequently asked questions
How do I know what cap size to buy?
In order to find the right size wig, measure the circumference of your head from the front hairline, behind your ear, to the nape of your neck, to your other ear and then back to the front hairline.
Sizes will vary slightly from brand to brand, and it’s important to note that not all wigs are available in all cap sizes.
An average size wig will fit around 90 - 95% of customers. Please see below:

Cap Construction
Constant innovation in technology allows for increasingly wearable and comfortable wigs! The base of any wig is referred to as a cap. The hair is attached to the wig cap using a variety of techniques to achieve different looks. On most wigs, hair is attached in "wefts" These are strips of hair doubled over and sewn closely together in long strands. Others are hand-tied for the most natural movement. If you like to wear your hair swept away from your face, lace front wigs are the best option. If you like parting versatility, we recommend full monofilament wigs. 100% Hand-Tied and double monofilament wigs are known for being gentle on sensitive scalps.
- Machine Made: The most common and affordable design. Wefts of hair are sewn onto the cap, which has a closed lace layer at the crown. The hair is cut and styled into a specific style and the crown is often teased or crimped so you cannot
see down through to the cap. This type of cap often gives the hair volume at the
crown. - Lace Front: Create the illusion of natural hair growth along the hairline. This adds to the natural appearance of a wig and allows for styling away from the face. Some come pre-trimmed and are ready to wear while others will require the lace to be trimmed to the desired length.
- Monofilament: Offer a very natural look. The monofilament panel gives the
illusion the hair is growing from the scalp. The hair can be parted in different directions. Monofilament wigs can be monofilament at the parting, crown or entire top of wig. The double monofilament wigs are a great option for sensitive scalps as the cap is soft.
Human Hair or Synthetic
Synthetic for consistent amazing style, no work required and less expensive. Since synthetic hair is less costly, you can afford to change your style more often.
Human Hair wigs are ideal for experienced wig wearers who are happy to invest time into regularly maintaining and styling the hair. Human hair wigs are significantly more expensive than synthetic.
